NEW · MANAGER PROGRAMS

When leaders are at their best, their team delivers uncommon results.

Two new programs that bring out the best in the managers who lead your people.

A Portland nonprofit's leadership team asked me to train their managers, and I've been delivering the training since.

I help leaders get more from the teams they already have. I've coached hundreds of owners over sixteen years. Before that, I spent thirty years in architecture, construction, and enterprise technology.

01

Is this for your team?

  1. You just promoted someone into management.
  2. A new manager now leads the people who used to be their peers.
  3. You're ready for your team to deliver more.
02

What you get

The skills that earn a promotion aren't the skills that lead a team. Both programs build the second set.

Time back.Your manager delegates and follows up, so decisions stop landing on your desk.

Fewer expensive problems.A bad attitude is catching. Your manager deals with it early, before it spreads and before your good employees see someone getting away with it and decide not to stick around.

A stronger team.Your manager gives each person clear direction and holds a fair standard. The team delivers more without adding headcount.

A team is a trust. Clear expectations and honest feedback are the most generous things a manager can give it.

Two programs

Leading from Day One

12
WEEKS
16
SESSIONS
The outcome
a new manager who leads the team instead of working alongside it.
Who it's for
first-time managers, especially those now leading former peers.
What they practice
hard conversations, delegation, meetings that end in decisions, tracking results, and managing up and across.
How long
12 weeks, 16 sessions. Every three weeks, a live session puts the skills to work. The last one ends with their 90-day plan presented to you.

Leading with Range

4
MONTHS
15
SESSIONS
The outcome
a manager who gets results through people instead of carrying the load.
Who it's for
experienced managers who lead through others.
What they practice
reading each person, coaching instead of telling, accountability, delegating through leads, and working across teams.
How long
about four months, 15 sessions, with two behavioral assessments and three live coaching sessions.

Sessions run about an hour a week, mostly virtual. Each one mixes training with coaching on the manager's real work. It's designed to run one on one or with a small group.

“It's worth the time and the money.”
Char, promoted to lead her former peers

Quick answers

No time for training?

It's about an hour a week, and practice happens on real work during working hours.

Why not train them myself?

You could, on the time you're trying to get back.

What if they leave?

The bigger risk is the manager who stays and never learns to lead.

Will it stick?

Every skill gets coached on their real team, and the live sessions show you it's being used.
